Sunday Morning

What should I expect on Sunday morning?

Arborlawn is a diverse community of thoughts, ideas, and backgrounds. We invite guests to come as they are. Join us dressed in one's best, dressed casually, or somewhere in-between; however you come is just fine.

Our worship services are designed to meet a variety of needs in terms of worship style. And, if you join for the Sunday School hour, you are sure to find a class to meet your learning style.

As we say every week, whatever you are looking for, whatever brought you to Arborlawn, we hope you find it in this place we call, "Home."

Where do I park?

Parking can be found all around the building. The lots closest to Arborlawn Drive will place you closest to the Sanctuary. On Sunday mornings our friends at Freese and Nichols allow us to use their lots off of International Plaza for extra parking.

Which door should I use to enter the building?

If navigating to Arborlawn using a maps app or GPS, most apps will take you to the Briarhaven Road entrance, south of the Sanctuary, on the highest level of the campus. This entrance is closest to our front office and Family Life Center. However, this entrance is furthest from the Sanctuary and Worship Center. For a closer walk to worship, we invite you to enter at the north end of the building on either the east or west sides, on the lower end of the campus.

Regardless of which door you choose, you will be met by greeters who can point you in the correct direction to wherever you are heading on our campus.

Where do I go once inside?

You can find a map of our campus here to help you navigate to the Sanctuary, Worship Center, Nursery, or a Sunday School Room.

Also, on Sunday mornings there are a number of "Welcome and Connect Kiosks" throughout our building, with volunteers who can help direct you to worship or Sunday School, and who can provide more information about the many activities and programs happening at Arborlawn.

Our Community

What is your mission and vision?

Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We hold this mission in common with local United Methodist congregations throughout Fort Worth and across the globe.

At Arborlawn, our vision for engaging in this work prompts us to Meet God, Connect with People, and Live Missionally in everything we do.

Who are the Pastors?

Information about the pastoral staff of Arborlawn can be found here.

Is there a place to check out books and curriculum?

Located in Abby Johnson's office, the Resource Library is a great option for those looking to check-out curriculum (w/ videos) for a class, a good book to read, or a personal bible study.  Depending on the selection you have chosen, there might be multiples available for your class or reading group. Please feel free to visit the Library during business hours or to peruse our selection online HERE

If you are interested in making suggestions of materials to add the Library, please email Abby Johnson at abby@arborlawnumc.org.
