Traditional Worship @ 11:00

We live in a conflicted culture, where differing opinions too often lead to hostility, polarization, and division. Is there a way to disagree without being disagreeable? Can good things actually come out of conflict? Join us for this four-week series, beginning Sunday, November 4, as we talk together about the value of conflict, how people of faith manage conflict, and how we might even learn to complain more effectively.

The Traditional services in the Sanctuary at Arborlawn take place every Sunday at 8:45 and 11 am. The service utilizes the traditional order of worship that God's people have been using for centuries, and features the Arborlawn Chancel Choir, directed by Michael Plantz and accompanied by our organist, Jerry Westenkuehler. Several of Arborlawn's associate pastors help lead the service, with Senior Pastor, Chris Mesa as the regular preacher.

Both the 8:45 and 11 traditional worshipping communities begin each service with a time of welcome and greeting. This reflects our vision at Arborlawn to be disciples of Jesus Christ who connect with people as we prepare to be disciples who meet God in worship every Sunday so that we might be disciples who live missionally in the world each week.

We hope all people feel welcome in this beautiful service of liturgy, traditional hymns, and transformative preaching each week.
