Introduction to Arborlawn
Are you new to Arborlawn United Methodist Church? This three-week class offers a crash course in who we are as United Methodists and as people of Arborlawn. Taught by Senior Pastor Ben Disney, this course is offered twice a year and is both an opportunity to plug into the excitement of Arborlawn and meet new people.

The Welcoming Classes
The Welcoming Classes connect people to God, to other people, and to the events and activities at Arborlawn UMC. When people know themselves very well, they know how to select places to serve - and ensure they will grow closer to God. We offer four Welcoming Classes throughout the year - Introduction to Arborlawn; Using Your Spiritual Gifts; Three Simple Rules; and Understanding Yourself and Others as Children of God. Specific details are available on the New to Arborlawn page.
Pastors' Bible Studies
Senior Pastor Ben Disney and Associate Pastor Beth Evers lead several studies throughout the year. The Pastors’ Bible Studies feature original curriculum created by Arborlawn pastors. Explore and wrestle the Bible in a lively discussion format designed to bring the Word of God to life for contemporary Christians.
Men's Bible Studies
A special Bible study series designed for men and led by Rev. Ben Disney is offered throughout the year at various times. The series addresses the issues and challenges facing men from a Biblical and spiritual perspective. “Seven” - a look at the historical seven deadliest sins as identified by the early church - and “Maturity in an Immature World” are examples of topics the men have addressed. These studies are normally held on Monday evenings.
