Arborlawn Children’s Ministry

It is our goal that each child knows and experiences God through the loving message of Jesus and the stories from the Bible. Providing a safe and nurturing environment for all of our children, from infants to 5th grade, is of utmost importance.
The ultimate goal is for all of our children to know that they are children of God.
Sunday Morning Opportunities
Children's Church
Children's Church meets every Sunday with the exception of Communion Sunday and some major holidays. The children Kindergarten through 2nd grade meet in Room 121 after the Children's Sermon in the 11:00 and 11:11 services. During this time we read Bible stories, do crafts, play Bible games, cook, and much more. It is a time to enrich your child's knowledge of the Bible. We hope you will join us each week.
Acolytes
Acolytes are children in 3rd through 6th grade. They are trained twice a year ( August and January ). Acolytes are worship leaders in our 11:00 service. They carry the cross, offering plates, and pass out the offering plates to the ushers during offering time. They sit on the front pew with the Acolyte parent. You can sign up today for spots September through December. If you did not attend the August training please contact Kim Cordell to be trained before you can participate.
Faith Walk Rotation

We use the Hands On Bible Curriculum from Group. At 10:45 parents can come and pick their child up from class or for the 2's, 3's, and 4's they can stay downstairs in the nursery while parents attend the 11:00 or 11:11 services.
